Models can already write code, analyze documents, research markets, and operate software. The enterprise bottleneck is no longer access to intelligence. It is getting people and agents to work from the same reality.

Important decisions are scattered across Slack, email, meetings, tickets, CRM records, documents, and code. Ownership changes. Policies become stale. Two teams solve the same problem. An agent acts on yesterday's plan while another changes the product.

Faster execution without coordination does not create a faster company. It creates confusion faster.

Field Runtime's Coordination Runtime gives every authorized person and agent the context needed to act, identifies what requires attention, coordinates the next step, and learns from the result.

THE GOAL

The company should know what it knows, what changed, who owns what, and what needs to happen next.

Enterprise problemWhat the Coordination Runtime doesExpected result
Knowledge is fragmented across tools and teams.Builds permission-aware institutional memory from the systems where work already happens.Less searching, repeated explanation, and status reporting.
Decisions change but old versions remain in circulation.Preserves the decision trail, identifies the current position, and attaches evidence.Fewer actions based on stale or conflicting information.
Work is lost between functions.Tracks commitments, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and blockers across team boundaries.Faster handoffs and fewer missed commitments.
Agents act without shared organizational context.Gives each agent scoped context, tools, credentials, policies, and approval boundaries.Safer execution and higher task success.
Valuable experience disappears after the task ends.Evaluates outcomes and converts validated lessons into durable memory or reusable skills.A company that becomes more capable with every completed workflow.

What the product does

The Coordination Runtime turns activity already happening across the company into a live, governed operating layer. It helps an enterprise:

  • Preserve decisions, commitments, procedures, and hard-earned lessons.
  • Give people and agents current, permission-aware context.
  • Detect conflicting decisions, duplicated work, missing owners, and blocked dependencies.
  • Route the right information before someone searches for it.
  • Automate status collection, follow-ups, and bounded operational work.
  • Keep humans in control of high-impact decisions and actions.
  • Convert successful work into reusable organizational knowledge and skills.

This is not another chatbot over company documents. Search tells you where information lives. A coordination system determines what matters now and helps the organization act on it.

An open, sovereign architecture

Enterprises need a shared context layer that connects fragmented systems, preserves permissions, stays current, and serves reliable context to people and agents. Field Runtime combines three open layers with an enterprise control plane.

LayerComponentResponsibility
Institutional memoryGBrainCurates durable knowledge, synthesizes sourced answers, connects entities, identifies gaps and contradictions, and consolidates memory over time.
Operational runtimeQMGives each person, Slack room, and project scoped memory, files, credentials, permissions, schedules, skills, and an isolated execution environment.
Sovereign work surfaceBuzzProvides an optional agent-native workspace where human actions, agent actions, approvals, workflows, and repository events share a signed, searchable event log.
Enterprise control planeField RuntimeConnects company systems, aligns identity and permissions, defines policies and approvals, captures outcomes, runs evaluations, and governs what becomes shared learning.

QM and Buzz are two deployment paths, not requirements to run two overlapping workspaces.

  • QM path: Best when the enterprise wants to keep Slack and introduce agents inside existing work patterns.
  • Buzz path: Best when the enterprise wants a self-hosted, agent-native workspace with a common event and identity model for people and agents.

Systems of record remain authoritative for transactions. GBrain does not become a copy of every message. It retains the knowledge the company will need again: decisions, commitments, procedures, incident lessons, customer constraints, milestones, relationships, and unresolved questions—with provenance.

How the workflow operates

Consider a customer escalation crossing sales, product, and engineering. The same operating pattern applies to incident response, deal handoffs, onboarding, procurement, compliance reviews, and product delivery.

01Observe

Capture relevant activity

02Understand

Retrieve current context

03Coordinate

Identify owners and next steps

04Act

Execute within policy

05Verify

Measure the outcome

06Learn

Promote validated knowledge

Outcome returns as governed context ↻

  1. Observe. The runtime sees the relevant Slack discussion, CRM history, support ticket, product decision, and engineering status.
  2. Understand. GBrain retrieves the customer history, current policy, previous exceptions, decision trail, and unresolved commitments.
  3. Coordinate. QM or Buzz identifies the responsible scopes, assembles the evidence, and routes a proposed next step to the right people and agents.
  4. Act. A bounded agent prepares the response, updates the ticket, or performs approved work using the permissions of the person or project it represents.
  5. Verify. The runtime records what happened, whether the escalation was resolved, and whether the customer commitment was met.
  6. Learn. The useful lesson is consolidated into institutional memory, evaluated, and made available to future work.

The learning loop

QM supplies the operational substrate: persistent scope memory, session history, scheduled watches, audited actions, and skills that can be shared or promoted with administrative approval. GBrain supplies long-term consolidation: synthesis, graph connections, gap analysis, contradiction checks, evaluation, and its background dream cycle.

Work → Outcome → Evaluation → Distilled Memory or Skill → Approved Promotion → Better Future Work

Not every conversation becomes company knowledge. The runtime promotes only information that is durable, sourced, and useful. A local lesson can remain within one person or project. A validated pattern can become a team skill. Only reviewed knowledge crosses into organization-wide use.

Each function keeps its own context, tools, permissions, and evaluations while sharing selected learning through explicit boundaries.

THE CIO OPPORTUNITY

Start with one coordination loop.

Do not begin with a company-wide knowledge migration. Begin with one workflow where coordination failure is expensive and the outcome is measurable. Map the systems and permissions, capture the judgment, establish approval boundaries, and evaluate the runtime against real outcomes.

Shared Context + Clear Ownership + Governed Action + Verified Outcome + Promoted Learning

The first deployment creates immediate operational value. Each completed cycle then improves the memory, skills, and evaluations behind the next one.

Intelligence is becoming abundant. The durable advantage will belong to companies that can combine what their people and agents know, coordinate it safely, and learn from every outcome.
