Effective date: September 24, 2026
Steward is a household financial organization service operated by Field Runtime LLC ("Steward," "Field Runtime," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through the Steward website, application, and connector. It does not govern unrelated Field Runtime products or another company's independent handling of information.
Steward is currently offered to adults in the United States.

Our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy applies when Steward handles medical bills or other consumer health data.
1. Information we collect
Account and contact information
We collect information you provide to create or manage an account, connect Steward to Muse, request support, or communicate with us. This may include your name, email address, account identifiers, authentication records, saved preferences, and records of your acceptance of applicable terms and permissions.
Information you choose to provide
You may provide selected bills, receipts, statements, documents, messages, household expenses, income information, goals, and related details. These materials may include names, addresses, service providers, partial account references, amounts, due dates, household relationships, insurance information, and medical-billing information.
Steward does not need your bank password, Social Security number, full payment-card number, or payment-card security code to provide its initial service. Please remove information that is not needed for your request.
Information received through Muse or another connected service
When you ask Muse or another supported service to use Steward, we may receive the information that service sends for your requested task, such as a connected-service identifier, your instructions, selected facts, document content, source references, or action results. Connecting Steward does not by itself give us unrestricted access to your email, bank accounts, conversations, or another service's memory.
Information Steward creates
Steward creates records needed to maintain continuity and follow work through, including extracted facts, source references, Cases, proposed next steps, approvals, corrections, preferences, summaries, brief editions, evidence, action reports, verification status, and change history. Derived or inferred information remains personal information when it is linked or reasonably linkable to you.
Service, device, and security information
We and our service providers process technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, request time, authentication events, API activity, error information, and security logs. We also use limited first-party event measurement, such as page views and feature-use events, to understand use and improve reliability. We do not need bill contents or household financial amounts for general website analytics.
Purchase information
Steward is free for a limited launch period. If we later offer a paid plan, we may collect purchase status, billing contact details, transaction references, and related support correspondence. A payment provider would collect payment credentials through its own checkout. Do not send payment-card details through ordinary support email.
2. Sources of information
We collect information:
- directly from you;
- from Muse or another service when you direct or authorize that service to interact with Steward;
- from documents, messages, or provider communications you choose to submit;
- from other household participants only if a supported sharing feature is enabled and appropriate permission has been granted;
- from our systems and service providers through operation, security, and support records; and
- by deriving structured facts, status, or recommendations from information supplied through these sources.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide the household organization and follow-through services you request;
- extract, compare, and organize selected facts;
- create and maintain Cases, household plans, briefs, and source-linked records;
- remember your corrections, decisions, and preferences;
- identify missing information, changes, unresolved matters, and possible next steps;
- prepare recommendations and action handoffs for your review;
- receive action results and verify whether an outcome has actually occurred;
- maintain accounts, authentication, and customer support;
- prevent fraud, abuse, duplicate actions, and unauthorized access;
- diagnose errors, operate backups, and improve reliability;
- comply with law and enforce our agreements; and
- administer a purchase if paid features are introduced and you affirmatively buy them.
Steward does not treat a model output, a promised credit, or a reported action as a verified financial outcome without the evidence and review required by the service.
4. Automated processing and AI services
Steward uses deterministic software and, where enabled, AI-assisted services to classify selected information, identify candidate facts, compare documents, and propose next steps. Automated results may be incomplete or wrong. Steward provides source references, review controls, correction paths, and approval boundaries appropriate to the feature.
At launch, authorized real-record processing may include TypeSafe AI's Jev service for narrow classification and extraction tasks. Relevant selected text, candidate values, and limited Case context may be sent to that processor. Steward performs financial calculations in ordinary code and does not authorize a model to pay, cancel, contact a provider, or close a Case merely because the model recommends doing so.
We do not use the OpenAI API to process real Steward customer records at launch. If that changes, we will update our disclosures and obtain any consent required before the new processing begins.
We do not use private household records to train general-purpose AI models. Processors are permitted to handle records only to provide contracted services to Field Runtime and must be subject to data-use, security, retention, and deletion requirements appropriate to the information involved.
5. Muse and other connected services
When you use Steward through Muse, Steward receives selected inputs and returns information needed for the requested job. Depending on the job, Steward may return a source-linked summary, Case state, recommendation, approval request, or information needed for Muse to attempt an action you approved.
Steward does not treat your general acceptance of these policies as authority to pay a bill, cancel a service, contact a provider, or perform another consequential action. An action requiring approval must be presented for explicit confirmation. A report that an action was attempted is not treated as a verified outcome until sufficient evidence establishes what happened.
Muse and other connected services have their own terms and privacy practices. Disconnecting Muse does not automatically delete information already retained by Steward, and deleting Steward information does not automatically delete information independently retained by Muse. You may request deletion from each service separately.
6. How we disclose information
We disclose only the information reasonably needed for the relevant purpose:
- Amazon Web Services: application hosting, database infrastructure, storage, and encrypted backups.
- TypeSafe AI / Jev: narrow AI-assisted classification and extraction when that processing is enabled.
- Meta / Muse: information received from or returned to Muse for a task you request, including approved action handoffs and returned results.
- Website hosting and operational service providers: delivery of the public Steward website, security, and limited first-party usage measurement. Public website systems are not intended to receive private household documents.
- Professional advisers and authorities: lawyers, accountants, insurers, regulators, courts, or law enforcement when reasonably necessary and legally permitted.
- A successor transaction: a buyer or successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and the privacy commitments governing the information.
- Recipients you direct: another person or service when you specifically direct us to disclose the information and the disclosure is supported by the service.
We do not sell personal information or consumer health data. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not give another household member access merely because that person is related to you or named in a document.
7. Cookies and usage measurement
We use cookies or similar technologies needed for sign-in, session security, preferences, and operation of the service. Our hosting and identity systems may use technologies necessary to provide those functions. Blocking required cookies may prevent parts of Steward from working.
We use limited first-party service-event measurement rather than advertising profiles. We do not intentionally track your activity across unrelated websites for advertising. We will explain any optional tracking and obtain consent where required before enabling it.
8. Retention, access, correction, export, and deletion
We retain account information and saved household records while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service you request. We may retain limited records longer when required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or enforcement of our agreements.
You may review and correct supported facts, export available account records, or request account closure and deletion. Send requests to support@fieldruntime.ai. We may request information reasonably necessary to authenticate you and protect records from unauthorized disclosure or deletion.
We respond to authenticated privacy requests without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law. For rights covered by Washington's consumer health data law, the initial response period is no more than 45 days, subject to one permitted 45-day extension with notice when reasonably necessary.
When we grant a deletion request, we remove covered information from active systems and notify processors or other recipients when required. Encrypted backups follow a 30-day scheduled expiry cycle. If deletion from an archived or backup system must be delayed to permit safe restoration, we restrict the information from ordinary use and complete deletion within the period permitted by applicable law. If a backup is restored, applicable deletion requests must be reapplied.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to confirm processing, access, correct, export, delete, withdraw consent, obtain information about recipients, or appeal a refusal. We do not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
For consumer health data rights and the appeal process, see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
9. Security and processing locations
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information Steward handles. Measures include access controls, encrypted transmission, encrypted backups, separation of public and private systems, authentication controls, logging restrictions, and recovery procedures. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Steward is operated from the United States. Service providers may process information in other locations as described in their applicable service terms and our contracts with them.
If you believe your account or records have been exposed, contact support@fieldruntime.ai promptly.
10. Medical-billing and consumer health information
Steward may process medical bills, health-insurance explanations of benefits, payment plans, reimbursements, and related correspondence when you choose to provide them. This information may be consumer health data even when Steward uses it only for household financial organization.
Steward is not a healthcare provider and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or respond to a medical emergency. Field Runtime is not necessarily a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate merely because you upload a medical bill. Do not use Steward for emergency or clinical communications.
Before Steward first collects consumer health data, the service must present the applicable health-data notice and obtain any affirmative consent required for the proposed collection or disclosure. See our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
11. Children and household information
Steward accounts are intended only for people aged 18 or older. An adult may include limited information about household obligations, such as a child's school or medical bill, only when the adult is authorized to provide it and the information is necessary for the requested service.
Do not submit information you are not entitled to provide. Contact support@fieldruntime.ai if you believe a child opened an account or information was supplied without appropriate authority.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Steward changes. We will update the effective date and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Where consent is required for a new category or purpose, a policy update alone will not authorize the new processing.
